English Week

On March 13 we held our Regional Picture Bee competition in our school library. Kindergarten students from the western region came to participate with the hope of winning first place. They were seated in different areas with a computer and a judge. Each Kindergarten student had to identify the picture and use a sentence or phrase with it. The English Facilitators awarded 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place and gave certificates to each student for participating. It was an amazing experience to watch them compete at such young age.

In addition, we would like to congratulate our first place winners from the District Spelling Bee competition that took place in SU Mildred Arroyo Cardoza (Puerto Real): Hadamar Sanchez (3rd grade) and Adrienne Velazquez (4th grade). They will both compete on March 15 in the Regional Spelling Bee competition at the Universidad Interamericana in San German. We wish them both GOOD LUCK!
